My 3-day diet complete review and analysis



Looks like time is one of the biggest enemy for dieters. Dieters struggle to lose weight while setting an impossible deadline for themselves. Therefore fads diet such as the lemonade diet, cabbage soup diet become popular. However in the lemonade diet guide and the cabbage soup diet review that I wrote, both diet require at least 7 days to make it works.


Here's another fads diet, designed for three days only. It's called the three days diet. I was skeptic after listening briefly about this diet method, however the short time span intrigued me to try and see the result myself.


Let's analyze and review the three days diet method below.




3-day diet put emphasis on mixing several types of foods, to increase your fat burning level. This 3-day diet use tea and coffee as diuretic drinks to stimulate your body to release the water from cells.


3-day diet aims to increase your body metabolism over three days of strict diet. And you are advised to take 5 days off before continuing this diet for another three days.


Here are the meal plans for your 3-day diet.


Main drinks: 8 glasses of water everyday and a few cups of coffee/tea unsweetened.

Note that you are allowed to add salt and pepper to your meals throughout the three days diet.


Day 1


Breakfast: Coffee/Tea, 1 egg , 1 slice of toast and 1/2 banana.


Lunch: Coffee/tea, toast with 1/2 cup of tuna.



Dinner: 3 Oz. of chicken, 1 cup of green beans, vanilla ice cream and carrots. And you can consume 1 cup of vanilla ice cream


Day 2


Breakfast: Coffee/Tea, 1/2 grapefruit and a toast.


Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna, with 4 - 8 saltine crackers.

A saltine crackers is a thin cracker sprinkled lightly with coarse salt made from white flour, yeast, and baking soda.


Dinner: 2 beef franks, a cub of cabbage, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream.


Day 3


Breakfast: Coffee/tea, 5 saltine crackers, 1 apple, 1 egg, 1 toast and just a little cheddar cheese.


Lunch: Coffee/tea, 1 slice of toast with 1 boiled egg.


Dinner: a cup of tuna, carrots, melon, cauliflower and another 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream.


After looking at the meals plan, I decided to try it. And looking at the bright side, this diet is gonna be a heaven diet compared to my lemonade diet or my modification of cabbage soup diet.


Well after doing several trials on this diet, I lost 5 pounds in a week. Note that you can't do this 3-day diet more than once in a week.


Some people argue that this diet is not good since you will gain your back right away after three days diet. However from my own experience, the key to this diet is how you deal with the rest four days!



The rest four days will determine whether your three days of efforts will be in vain or will be a big success.


Many people could not manage to regulate their eating habits after the diet, therefore all of their efforts are also in vain. I suggest this eating plan as a basic guideline for the rest four days.


Breakfast: Tomato and broccoli soup (or other low fat soup) and orange juice.

Lunch: It can be sandwich stuffed with a little meat and cheese for your protein intake.

Dinner: Salad made from negative calories ingredients, vary it with fish based dishes.


Don't forget to do regular exercise too and you'll find that this 3-day diet is indeed a good way to reduce your weight. Good luck with the 3-day diet!
